I did like Vane and Audra, though, even if I didn’t necessarily care about them together. It started off super strong, and went a little downhill (not too much, though) in the last half. I’m fairly certain this book could have been 5 stars without all the lovey doveyness. Actually, the romance dragged it down a bit for me. It’s not a bad one though, I just didn’t get all gooey over it. It was awesome! This book is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. They each have their own language, and the more of them you know, the more powerful the winds you control are. I love the idea of sylphs, and the different types of winds: Westerly, Easterly, Southerly, and Northerly. I absolutely LOVE the concept! It’s so cool and unique. I can’t believe it took me so long to get back to it! The sad part is, I was really enjoying it! The audio is really good – there’s two narrators, which I like, and they both did a fabulous job. I had NO idea where I was at, so I just…never picked it back up again. Not because I didn’t like it, but because my Audible app screwed up and I lost my spot in the audiobook.
